Access Students Visit the American Center in Dushanbe
On June 5, 2024, Access program students from the National Association of Persons with Disabilities of Tajikistan visited the American Center in Dushanbe, spending the day engaged in learning and exploration.
Hosts Jamshed and Gulizor guided the students through the halls of the American Center and the rooms of the “English Without Borders” program. The visit began in the Maker Space with an introduction to microcircuits and microchips, followed by an exciting session in the Maker Lab where students explored 3D printing and used 3D pens to create their own designs.
Students also participated in a vocabulary-building game called Stickman, which encouraged teamwork and improved language skills. Special thanks to guest speaker Tim, who added even more excitement to the event.
One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on 3D printing demonstration, which captivated the students and sparked their enthusiasm for learning. The visit successfully combined education with entertainment, inspiring students to continue their educational journey.
The trip to the American Center was an unforgettable experience, fostering curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.
