Checkers tournament among people with disabilities in Tajikistan: Exciting competition and inspiring victories

On May 23, on Youth Day of Tajikistan, an exciting checkers tournament was held among people with disabilities. The competition was held according to the Swiss system, which allowed each participant to show their best skills.

The event was organized by the National Association of Disabled People of Tajikistan together with the Society of the Blind and with the financial support of World of Community Development – ​​Dunyoi rushdi jomea. The judging panel included Khamdamov Sukhrob, a man with extensive experience in these disciplines, which ensured a high level of judging.

Shabnam Amirkhonova deserves special attention, she overcame 12 opponents and won a well-deserved victory in the overall standings! All participants who took places from first to sixth received valuable prizes from the organizers.
